I purchased this product with two purposes in mind with the primary purpose for it to be used at a small off grid cabin to run an outdoor shower and a kitchen sink inside the cabin, which is why I bought the pump so I can pull water from a mobile water tank. I have temporarily mocked up this configuration at home and see no issues. The second purpose was to run an outdoor shower on our pop up tent trailer. I had the opportunity to put this configuration to the test last week and I am very impressed. I tied off the single water line already in the trailer from the existing 12v water pump and hung the heater outside along with the shower head. This worked very well. As for water temp you will not be cold, we ran the water pressure around mid range and the heat setting at the lowest setting and it was nice and warm. I found the shower head on and off to be a bit stiff to turn on and off but otherwise it is a fantastic unit. What was truly impressive is the kit comes with all the necessary fittings including Teflon tape. The only thing you need to supply is the water supply line which you can use dedicated pipe or a garden hose.
