This bundle includes the Eccotemp 45HI-LP and the 4" Horizontal Z-Vent Water Heater Vent Kit with Backflow Preventer.
The Eccotemp 45HI-LP is the largest indoor model of the Eccotemp tankless line. Rated at impressive 6.8 GPM and 150,000 BTU per hour, the 45HI-LP can meet all the hot-water needs of a standard home or apartment with one or two bathrooms, as well as smaller commercial applications. The compact, wall mounted 45HI-LP is powered by liquid propane and is also split system adaptable, which can further increase efficiency and hot water delivery speed. For a Canadian buyer this was under $1000 with tax. This is between 2x and 4x less expensive than anything comparable with CSA approval. Installation by a certified gas fitter (highly recommended) is going to cost an extra $1200 or so, but the result will be a hot water system that works consistently and predictably. Our two story cottage has long rows of hot and cold water pipes (town water) with the result that turning on the hot water tap will require a 90 second wait for serious hot water to kitchen, bathroom. or shower. Considering the price savings, we consider this to be an acceptable tradeoff. Also works great with the ultracold water delivered in December by a northern Ontario Municipal !
