I was first introduced to the L5 when we bought one for our hunt camp North of Parry Sound. There is nothing, I mean nothing better than a hot shower after being in the bush all day till dusk dogging in November. This unit was very adequate and capable and we even put in a re-circulation loop to make sure the water was not just below freezing in the holding tank we put water from the lake into, to have showers with. I liked this unit so much that I bought one for back home to build my own outdoor shower. Can not wait to get it built and start using it. Just something about outdoor showers and these units make it wonderful and affordable.

This is our second unit since we absolutely loved the first one. We have the first one setup for the cottage and it’s so great we decided to add a unit for the bunkie. Having instant hot water for a shower or other purposes is such a luxury when away from city conveniences. The order came quickly with no issues. Highly recommended, easy to setup, uses hardly no propane and batteries last forever.

BRILLIANT! Was slightly skeptical for the amount and duration of the hot water but was more than pleasantly surprised! Speaking of surprises, this was to go into a new shower shed that I was constructing, and my wife thought that we could not use the shower until the shed was completed (about 2 weeks). The smile on her face when I hung it off the side of the old shed and told her it was ready was like a kid on Christmas morning. An incredible investment and already thinking of another! Well worth the $$.

Ordered direct from Eccotemp Canada. Was on back order for about three weeks. Arrived earlier than estimated by Canada Post. I’m very satisfied with the quality and operation of the water heater. The water shutoff on the shower head is hard hard to operate, so I’ve installed a inline ball valve on the water line feeding the water heater to turn the water on/off. I highly recommend this on demand water heater.

Bought one of these units and I must say that I do not know how we survived at the cabin without one! We set it up as a portable shower and when you first turn it on, within 5 seconds, you have instant hot water. Showers at the cabin are a must, as during a summer day, one works up a sweat and then with the bug dope on, (as there are LOTS of mosquitoes up here in the NWT), it is sure nice to jump into the shower and rid yourself of all the smelly smells!! Set-up was very easy and would recommend this unit to any cabin owner!
