The EL5 has been CSA tested and approved for US & Canadian use at elevations up to 2000 feet. Installation and use of the Eccotemp EL5 above 2000 feet may affect overall product efficiency and performance.
Operating within a range of 20-80 PSI, this tankless water boiler offers a flow rate of 1.5 GPM (Gallons Per Minute), suitable for one shower. For low water pressure situations, it can be paired with the Eccotemp EccoFlo 12-volt pump and strainer (sold separately) for an extra boost.
Running on a standard 20 lb. Liquid Propane tank, the EL5 is equipped with an electronic ignition and powered by AA batteries. It meets and exceeds all safety and efficiency requirements according to the DOE, being CSA certified for use in both the US and Canada. The Safety Shut Off Switch turns off the heater if tilted more than 45 degrees, and low pressure activation at 20 PSI allows easy connection to a garden hose.
